Are you a carer and sometimes feel alone and isolated? Pop along to our Carers’ group and be welcomed to a friendly atmosphere to talk through any concerns you may have or just to talk. We are working with lots of organisations and our GP’s to ensure support and information needs are met.

Peterborough Volunteer Centre PCVS – information
There is a dedicated group for Fletton, Woodston and Stanground set up to support locals.Set up on Facebook, Fletton-Woodston-Stanground shared support for COVID-19 is gathering volunteers to help with essentials like buying food, dog-walking and prescription collection.
Bearded Villains East Anglia also offering to help, giving those who are vulnerable essentials items like toilet rolls, antibacterial hand soap and long life food. Bretton Assistance for the VulnerableThis is a group on Facebook set up before the coronavirus outbreak which will be offering its continued assistance. Giving help to the elderly, disabled and those most at risk of infection, the group of local residents will be helping with whatever requests they can.


Longthorpe Post Office They are offering free deliveries of essentials to those of a high risk. To use the service call 01733 263560. A dedicated Longthorpe community group is in the process of being created.

Nisa Local in Oundle Road We are telling vulnerable residents that “here to help, or have difficulty travelling or leaving the house, please call us on 01733 313676 they will try to do their best to deliver the essentials you need.
The Home Help Company
is coordinating local volunteers to help with those self-isolating. The Home Help Company is a company that caters for at-home needs for the elderly such as cleaning, meal preparation and providing company. Volunteers are offering to help collect shopping, prescriptions and give phone calls to reduce social isolation. Their volunteers will all be DBS checked.

Have a coffee and biscuits whilst the little ones interact, play and learn.  We will be working alongside GP’s and the health visiting team should you have any concerns.
