As part of our process of continuous review and improvement, we have made some further revisions to our telephone system. 

The phone messages have been updated in April 2022.

On connecting you will hear the following message

‘Welcome to Boroughbury Medical Centre. All calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes, In order to help you, our team will ask you some questions to help get you to the right person at the right time. Please choose from the following options’

For Appointments please Press 1 – This line is open Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 6pm. 

To use our automated system to book, change or cancel an appointment or order a prescription please Press 2This is available 24 hours a day

For medication enquiries please Press 3 this line is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

For Test results please Press 4– This line is open Monday to Friday 9am-1pm and 2pm to 6 pm

For anything else please press 5 – This line is open Monday to Friday 9am-1pm and 2pm to 6 pm

This line is for Emergencies and Health Care professionals only. You will not be able to book appointments, raise a query or request a prescription via this line.
