Welcome to Boroughbury Medical Centre, a modern day GP practice situated in the heart of Peterborough with a new surgery (BMC @ Werrington) in the village of Werrington. Boroughbury Medical Centre is a forward-thinking and innovative practice with a passion for multidisciplinary working, we are a registered training practice with an active research portfolio. Boroughbury Medical Centre is housed in two modern, state-of-the-art premises, caring for a richly diverse patient community.

As of 30 January 2024, patients in England can use the NHS App to view all their prescription details, order repeat prescriptions, and generate a barcode that can be shown to a pharmacy for collection without a paper prescription from their GP. 

PHONE ACCESS GUIDANCE
08:00-10:00: Same Day appointments only. Please press option 1 (the team will not be able to book any routine/future appointments)
10:00-1300: Routine calls for Blood tests, results, smears, dressings, Vaccinations. Or anything else in the future
1300-1400: Lunch (Routine line is closed)
1400-1800: Routine calls for Blood tests, results, smears, dressings, Vaccinations or anything else in the future
We will still have Emergency appointments for patients please press option 6 for this where you will be triaged by Patient Services team
